I just felt I wanted to share how Holy Fire Revivals came about. First off, I will tell you that I am a worshipper, and one becomes a worshipper out of the love and adoration that developes for God during times of sweet fellowship and worshipping the Lord. It's like a tree that's been planted and it begins to grow and grow, and the branches reach forth and begin bearing fruit...and those around you begin feeding off this fruit and desire the same in their own lives.
It is this fruit, I desire to share with those around me, this fruit I will call "worship."
Father God desires to be worshipped and He seeketh such to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. And that is who...not "what" I do..but is WHO I am. Worship becomes your lifestyle, and it should never grow stale..but always fresh and totally on fire. Obedienca also plays a major roll in a lifestyle of worship.
Holy Fire Revivals was birthed from this hunger and worship, because I just could not contain to keep it all to myself...I had to share it with the region, and beyond. Our very first Holy Fire Revival was in the fall of 2006. In October, I booked brother Carl Day, to come minister to us and he agreed, and it was a very successful first Holy Fire Revival service we had. The worship was deep and true and beautiful. Since then we've had 5 Holy Fire Revival gatherings, the most recent being with prophetic revivalist, Matt Sorger.
I tend to lean toward ministries that flow in the Gifts of the Spirit, ministries with virtue, and ministers that are walking in a high level of the anointing. (Not to impune other ministries, but I just feel led to bring in specific ones that I feel led to bring in at that time.) I desire those attending our services to walk away with something they didn't have when they came in, and PRAISE GOD! that's what's been happening in our services. People come sick, they leave HEALED! people come in under bondage..they leave DELIVERED! people come in in a backslidden state..they leave RESTORED! people come in unsaved, they leave BORN-AGAIN! and so on.
I praise God, for all the wonderful works He has performed in our Holy Fire worship services, and it is through these worship services I endeavour to be a living example of how to live a life of a worshipper and how to enter into the Holy of Holies with a heart of Worship!
Many regional folk have expressed their awe at the raw unhindered anoitning they felt at the Holy Fire Revivals, so mush so that they cannot wait for the next Holy Fire gathering. A few have said they never knew anything like this existed.
Holy Fire Revivals has been blessed both with partners that believe and those who have joined themselves in this vision of regional revival. Other area churches have joined efforts to reach the city of Kenora and surrounding communities and first nations with revival and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I give God all the Glory and Honour He so rightly deserves. I am but a servant, I do what I do for His Majesty, the Lord God Almighty. It's all about His Kingdom! It's all about Him!
