Welcome to my news page.

Hi ya'll! Well...good that you dropped by my "latest news" page..now I can tell you what I've been up to.

REVIVAL MEETING REPORTS!

MATT SORGER MEETINGS!

Our July 2007 special meetings with Matt Sorger, who is a prophetic revivalist, were a blast of pure Holy Spirit! The atmosphere was charged with such devoted worship that some said as they approached the church doors, they could already feel the power of God getting stronger as they got closer to the church doors. The church we used is located downtown on a busy residential and business area street. So, people that walked by certainly must've felt God's power filling the air as they walked past.  The worship was so intense and so in unison that one commented that the only other service with that kind of worship was when she attended a Benny Hinn crusade.  I am big on worship in the meetings I hold, because I know the power in it as God just so indwells that kind of atmosphere, and healings began happening as a result. Brother Matt brought out the Word with such conviction it changed hearts, and brought realignment into the lives of those in attendance. The final night, the anointing was so strong, many were felled out in the Spirit, and a few got so drunk in the Holy Ghost that they couldn't even stand up. One lady had to be carried out to her car. We hope, in the near future, to have brother Matt, come back to us again.

MEETINGS WITH CARL DAY!

We just finished up the Holy Fire Revival Gatherings in Kenora, ON. at the First Baptist Church, and HALLELUJAH! The services got only stronger and stronger with each night! The music and worship leaders sang under the anointing of the precious Holy Spirit and the crowd was moved into spiritual worship. As I prayed for the services, I asked God to move in mighty ways and to pour out His Spirit upon us, and for Him to visit us with healing in His wings, and He did just that! A sister who was present began to see visions and she excitedly began to share what she was seeing, even drawing them out for people to see what she was seeing. At one point she saw an angel behind Brother Carl as he was ministering, and a younger brother saw that same angel behind him as well. The last night was phenonenal. The worship was deep and so true. Carl began to lead the people in singing "Hallelujah" as a young brother played on the keyboard, and the precious Holy Spirit began to sweep across the people as they sang and worshiped, and many were moved to tears and began speaking in tongues. Later, people walked thru a "healing line" and there were healings! and Jesus touched His people and many were slain out on the floor and the anointing touched them. GOD IS AWESOME!

MEETINGS WITH JANET ALTICE!

First of all, I'll share a bit of what occured during our gospel meetings with International Evangelist, Janet L. Altice when she came to Shoal Lake in mid September. The move of the Holy Spirit was awesome, which strengthened those who attened, in their faith. The music was anointed and lively. Each night was better than the first, on the last night the glory of God filled the sanctuary as Janet expressed her saddened farewells to everyone. So, I got up and got Janet to stand in front of the church and had everyone to come and give her a great big "farewell" hug. But, as they did, when the people pressed up against her to give her that hug, the anointing transfered onto the people and they began falling under the power of the Holy Spirit! AWESOME!

In May of 2006, I got to go visit my new friend, bro. Carl Day, in Winnipeg and met his youth group. Had a great time getting to know everyone. Carl's youth group did their first ever fundraising dinner that very night. Man, can they cook like pros. Dinner was great. Later that night, Carl and I just shared some songs with each other and talked about the Lord and all that he's been doing in these days, not to mention we also shared alot of laughs.

PIKANGIKUM MEETINGS!

WOW! It's been awhile since I shared my latest trips. so I'll share my latest year 2006 trip to Pikangikum, On. We headed for Pik on March 18, and had a GREAT time there. Our group from Shoal Lake sang together as a choir, we sang two songs, "Silver Wings" and "No Other Fountain." During the service I was delighted to see and hear from young people who sang and played in the band. My aunt and uncle got drunk in the Spirit. They were just about falling over under the anointing. The power of God was just strong in that place. Before we got set up in our hotel rooms that evening, we ate dinner at thier restuarant, rested up a bit, then headed for the church for a time of worship and praise and sweet fellowship.  The next morning we made our way out of Pik and drove into Red Lake for more fellowship and had another fabulous time in the Lord. My Aunty got more drunk in the Spirit and finally just fell over and was barely able to stand back up as the power of the Lord was all over her. I sang up a storm. We got ministered to by brother Carl Day, I've seen him around before, but this is the first time I met him. He's a very gifted young man of God who operates in the Spirit. We had dinner with everyone bvefore we headed back home that night.

BEAVER LAKE GOSPEL SING!

Well, on the weekend of July 29, 2005 we went to Beaver Lake Camp again, this year. Met a few friends we haven't seen for awhile. We told Brother Roger Stevenson about it, and he got all wired to go right away...so he and Elayne and the kiddos had a fab time at Beaver Lake  Family Camp and Gospel Sing.  There's always a great time to be enjoyed and fellowship is just so enjoyable. Check it out next year, ya'll. Bring your tents or get a cabin. Rising Above Gospel Band was the feature band..but the entire line up was very good. Rog got to sing with two other brothers and they sounded like the Cooke Brothers...lol.

Hello Everyone! I am glad to say that we had a VERY good time in Kenora, Ont. this past weekend (April 15 & 16, 2005.)  We had two fabulous nights of fellowship at the Lakeside Inn, and ALOT of people came out to enjoy good gospel music and the preaching of the Word. Many were refreshed, and a few restored, and many more strengthened in thier spirits. We had a large number of youth during the two nights, and they took part in singing, and being a part of the live band. We had a group come from North Dakota, the same people who we went to visit when we went to their church in March. Melissa Williams sang a POWERED OUT song called "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul." and stirred the hearts of the hearers. There was alot of talented singers who shared a song or two. It was AWESOME!

Greetings! Well, today is Monday, March 28, 2005.  This past weekend we got to make a road trip..DID SOMEONE SAY "ROAD TRIP?!" lol. The neighbours (Ray and Margaret,) my mom and I, all loaded the car and drove off to North Daokota, U.S.A. My uncle and aunty (Ron and Verna,) and my cousin Aaron and his friend, Percy rode in another vehicle. It was a long drive up there, but it was a beautiful trip. As we approached the city of Bismark, the highway speeds exceeded 75 mph (110 kms) and I just cruised it pedal to the metal. lol. It was like summer there, the table-top mountains are so gorgeous to look at. We got to see the buffalo, and visited the gravesite of Chief Sitting Bull. We were put up at the Prairie Knights Casino (http://www.prairieknights.com) no no..we did not do any gambling. lol. On the night of our stay the Gatlin Brothers played the Casino, but we didn't get to see them or even see their tour bus. We went to a Youth Gatherring in Fort Yates, and Standing Rock is one beautiful peice of land.

On October 2, 2004, we made a trip up to Sioux Lookout for a dynamic gospel gathering. Bro. Barry Choken, Bro. Mike Little and Bro. Samson Bartman were in attendance. Bro. Barry and Mike Little shared from the Word of God, and it was like an explosion of Glory in the house. I got to mingle with my friend Clinton, and his mother Kenina, and her husband. (Clinton cooked up some mighty fine food.)

SOUTHWIND CHURCH VISIT (Steinbach)

Hello ya'll! It's now Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004. So, I wanted to tell everyone that we went to Steinbach, MB. yesterday (Sept. 25, 2004) and attended the Southland Church..and it was an awesome service. The singing was so good, the worship leaders did an awesome job. The sound system was perfect, the sound techs at the rear of the church did a very good job. Their church is very big...and the outer part of the actual sanctuary looked reminiscent of a shopping mall...it did..lol. We got to fellowship afterwards and met some really neat people. OH..and on our way to Southland church..we stopped by for dinner..and after we had dinner..we saw a plane overhead...and got to see skydivers jump out into the air..and parachute down...it was quite something to see.

Just got back from the "Chosen Generation Ministries" Gospel meetings, and MAN! it was a knockout service. LOTS of youth ministries took part and ALL were truly blessed. Bro. Rob Lavallee stirred the crowd with a powered up version of "Fifteen Hundred Miles Long" It was AWESOME!

A radio single was chosen from off my new CD "My Desire," and it's titled "Like No Other" and it's a doo-wop flavoured tune about enduring love without compromise or conditions. This radio single will be pitched to selected radio stations, one single was sent to NCI fm (105.5 fm on the radio dial,) and "Like No Other" debuted at no. 29, on the Top 30 Aboriginal Artists radio program, so, go to www.ncifm.com and request "Like No Other" by Ashley Green, and help it climb the charts. As of Oct. 7, 2004 "Like No Other" has moved from the no. 29 spot, on the NCI charts to the no. 25 spot. Thanks to everyone making those requests, and keeping the radio single active. *thumbs up*

We went to Dryden. this past weekend to this place called Beaver Lake Camp. This is a music festival where one can catch their favourite Gopsel singers or bands. I got to see the Singing Hills there and this other band (among alot of other singers and bands) and the two big bands had their tour busses parked at the head of the big tent..one bus belonged to the Singing Hills..and I got to meet a couple of the Singing Hills and got my picture taken with them. Oh, my friends from Round Lake were there too.

We just got done having campmeetings at the Kenora Harbourfront this weekend (July 23, 24 & 25, 2004.) It was a very good turnout. The weather was agreeable. The Kenora harbourfront is alive with tourists because the M.S. Kenora is docked right there and the tourists came to check what was going on under the tent after each cruise, which was neat. The dinners were great too. There was alot of good singing, I tell ya...it was awesome.

ROUND LAKE! (Weagamow Lake)

I got to make a trip up north to a community called Round Lake, ON., on the weekend of June 25th, 2004.  We drove to Sioux Lookout and stayed in a fully paid for hotel room at the Sunset Inn. And we saw Lloyd and Nellie Redsky at the airport, along with Barry Choken and Roger Stevenson. Ernie Kematch was at the airport the same day and he got to see funnyman Don Burnstick and got to shake his hand. Ernie boarded out with us in the same cabin and it was neat hearing him warm up in the next room singing his songs..ERNIE! UNPLUGGED!..lol.  We had a wonderful time there. I so enjoyed mingling and hanging with my friends..and I sure do miss them now. Can't wait to see them again.
